William A. Dolan, M.D., Elected to the AMA Board of Trustees

The American Medical Association (AMA) announced at its Annual Meeting that William A. Dolan, M.D., an orthopaedic surgeon and clinical professor from Rochester, New York, was elected to a four-year term on the AMA Board of Trustees.

"I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve the AMA and support the issues most important to physicians and patients," Dr. Dolan said.

Dr. Dolan has served the AMA for 12 years as a member of the New York delegation to the AMA's House, and has been a member of the AMA Council on Medical Service since 2002. He is currently chair of the council.
