Karmanos Cancer Institute Disappointed With Today's Ruling

The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute is obviously disappointed with today's ruling. We have a different understanding of the agreement and felt we had a strong case.

We are considering our options and will determine if we will appeal. In the meantime, Karmanos will continue to work with The Detroit Medical Center.

Our patient care and research remain our top priorities. We will continue to provide world-class cancer services to prevent and eradicate cancer.
