Aureon Laboratories to Collaborate with UCSF on Research Study to Construct Predictive Models for GM-CSF Treatment Response in Patients with Prostate Cancer

Aureon Laboratories, Inc. announced a research collaboration with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to retrospectively analyze a Phase I clinical trial that examined the effects of neoadjuvant treatment with granulocyte macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) prior to radical prostatectomy.

The goal of the study will be to use Aureon's Systems Pathology platform to identify histological, molecular, and clinical phenotypes within patient samples both pre and post treatment in order to construct models that assist in predicting therapeutic response.
