DiaKine Therapeutics' Anti-Diabetes Drug Featured in U.S. Research Report

Research by Dr. Jerry Nadler and Dr. Zandong Yang that could lead to a higher success rate for islet cell transplants, is among the research featured in a new report on the status of diabetes research to Congress. The research, showing that DiaKine Therapeutics' developmental drug Lisofylline (LSF) prevented the recurrence of type 1 diabetes after islet cell transplantation in mice, is part of the status report on efforts to eradicate diabetes by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
