HIV/AIDS Prevention



Studies from University of East London, Institute for Health have provided new data on HIV/AIDS prevention

New investigation results, 'Prevention of HIV/AIDS among injecting drug users in Russia: opportunities and barriers to scaling-up of harm reduction programmes,' are detailed in a study published in Health Policy. In this recent study, researchers in the United Kingdom conducted a study "To examine attitudes of Russian policy-makers and HIV stakeholders towards harm reduction (HR) scale up, focusing on the factors constraining the scale-up process. Semi-structured interviews with representatives of 58 government and non-governmental organisations involved in HIV policies and programmes in Volgograd Region, Russian Federation."
