L-3 Signs Agreement with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced that it has signed a Blanket Purchase Agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to assist the agency with preparedness efforts for all-hazards, including acts of bio-terrorism and pandemic outbreaks. With a ceiling value of $215 million over five years, L-3's scope of work includes strategic and operational planning, training and exercise programs for CDC personnel, as well as institutional and organizational capacity and leadership building.
