Universal Health Services, Inc. Reports 2007 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Earnings and 2008 Guidance

Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE:UHS) announced that its reported net income was $40.0 million, or $.75 per diluted share, during the fourth quarter of 2007 as compared to $34.2 million, or $.63 per diluted share, during the comparable prior year quarter. For the year ended December 31, 2007, reported net income was $170.4 million, or $3.18 per diluted share, as compared to $259.5 million, or $4.56 per diluted share, during the prior year.
