ACS Announces $57 Million Contract With Missouri HealthNet

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE:ACS) announced a contract renewal with the Missouri (MO) HealthNet Division to provide electronic health records and pharmacy benefits management solutions. The contract has a length of up to 10 years and a total value of $57 million if all option years are exercised. Under this contract, ACS will provide the state with several components of ACS' electronic health records (EHR) solution, including SmartPA(SM) for conducting automated prior authorizations and Prospective Drug Utilization Review.
