e-SMART(R)Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets: ESMT); and its parent company IVI Smart Technologies, Inc., ("e-SMART" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert van Maasdijk to the Board of Directors of e-SMART(R). Mr. van Maasdijk currently serves as the Chairman of Mulier Capital Ltd., a company active in Private Banking and Asset Management. Since early 2007 Mr. Maasdijk also has served as Chairman of SulphCo, Inc., which specializes in sonocracking technologies employing high power ultrasound to desulfurize and hydrogenate crude oil and other oil-related products.
