Mannatech Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2007

Mannatech, Incorporated (NASDAQ:MTEX) reported a fourth quarter 2007 loss of $3.6 million or $0.13 cents per diluted share, which included an accrual of $4.7 million for litigation-related expenses. This compares to $0.30 cents earnings per diluted share and $8.2 million of net income for the fourth quarter of 2006. The company reported a pretax loss of $4.7 million compared to $12.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2006. Fourth quarter net sales for 2007 were $99.9 million, a decrease of 6.5%, compared to $106.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2006.
