District Judge Dismisses Shareholder Suit Related to Boston Scientific

Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX) announced that United States District Judge Sarah Evans Barker, Indianapolis, dismissed proceedings filed by former shareholders of Guidant Corporation ("Guidant") against several of Guidant's former directors and officers. Boston Scientific acquired Guidant Corporation in 2006. The plaintiffs alleged that the defendants breached their fiduciary duties. Judge Barker had earlier dismissed consolidated securities class action proceedings against Guidant and several of its former officers and directors.
