Dendreon Announces Closing of Registered Direct Offering

Dendreon Corporation (NASDAQ:DNDN) announced that it has completed the previously announced registered direct offering of 8.0 million shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 8.0 million shares of its common stock. Net proceeds received by Dendreon were approximately $46 million. Lazard Capital Markets LLC served as sole placement agent for the offering.
