Spherix Hires Key Employees

Spherix Incorporated (NASDAQ:SPEX) announced the recent hire of Randy Brown as Chief of Operations. Mr. Brown will be monitoring and overseeing all aspects of the ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial regarding the use of Naturlose(R) as a treatment for Type 2 diabetes. The hiring of Mr. Brown has allowed Spherix to terminate its agreement with the Contract Research Organization (CRO), take over full control of the clinical trial and its pivotal contracts, and build from existing internal resources, rather than outsource to third parties.
