Representative Inslee Honored as BIO Legislator of the Year

The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) announced its selection of Congressman Jay Inslee (D-WA) as Legislator of the Year for 2007-2008. Representative Inslee received the award during the BIO Legislative Day Fly-In on April 16, 2008. "As sponsor of the Patient Protection and Innovative Biologic Medicines Act, Representative Inslee has been a proponent of issues critical to our nation's biotech economy.
