According to recent research published in the Journal of Trauma - Injury Infection and Critical Care, "Medical malpractice has been noted to play an important role in physicians' decisions to pursue or remain in certain presumed high-risk specialties such as trauma surgery, despite little evidence suggesting an elevated malpractice risk.
