International Association of Law Schools to Hold Inaugural General Assembly

Over 100 legal educators from more than 40 countries will attend the first General Assembly of the International Association of Law Schools (IALS) on May 29-30, 2008 in Montreal, Canada. The General Assembly is the ultimate authority of the newly formed IALS, whose mission includes fostering "mutual understanding of and respect for the world's varied and changing legal systems and cultures as a contribution to justice and a peaceful world."
