Supreme Court of Canada grants leave to appeal

BCE (TSX, NYSE: BCE) announced that the Supreme Court of Canada has granted the applications for leave to appeal the Quebec Court of Appeal's decision of May 21, 2008, rejecting the company's plan of arrangement related to BCE's proposed privatization. The Supreme Court also granted BCE's motion to expedite the hearing. As ordered by the Court, the appeal will therefore be heard on June 17, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. Keywords: BCE Inc.
