CDX Gas Settles Patent Litigation with CNX Gas

CDX Gas, LLC announced that it has settled the litigation it had pending with CNX Gas, LLC and several affiliates in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania regarding certain CDX patents relating to horizontal well designs. As part of the settlement, CNX Gas affirmed the validity and enforceability of the patents at issue in the litigation and has licensed the CDX technology from CDX. The settlement does not require CNX Gas to pay CDX any cash consideration for CNX Gas' prior drilling activities. The pending litigation has been dismissed with prejudice.
