Family Dollar Names Jacob J. Modla Vice President - Deputy General Counsel

Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) announced that it has promoted Jacob J. Modla to the position of Vice President - Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Modla will continue to report to Janet Kelley, Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
