'Goin' to the Parade and We're Goin' to Get Married'

Call it gay marriage on parade, or the summer of love on wheels, or hitching a ride to get hitched. In a first of its kind event, Bay Quackers which operates the San Francisco Duck Tours, is inviting gay and lesbian couples to be married on board its amphibious Duck boat (a WWII amphibious landing craft) during the 38th Annual San Francisco PRIDE Parade on Sunday, June 29. The Parade kicks off at 10:30am along San Francisco's Market Street. Marriage Ceremonies will be performed, free of charge, by the Duck's Captain, John E. Scannell, who is also an ordained minister.
