Coalition Applauds Attorney Generals' Announcement Anheuser-Busch Will Cease Production of Alcoholic Energy Drinks

Eleven State Attorneys General, including California Attorney General Jerry Brown, announced an agreement with Anheuser-Busch Inc. that requires the company to discontinue production of all alcoholic energy drinks (AEDs), including its two current brands -- Tilt and Bud Extra. The agreement comes in the wake of an extensive investigation by the Attorneys General of Anheuser-Busch's marketing practices related to AEDs, which they concluded violated State consumer production laws.
