Consolidated Goldfields Corporation (Pink Sheets: CDGF)(the "Company") reports that Thomas K. (Toby) Mancuso has resigned as President & Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective June 27, 2008 for health-related issues. Mr. Thomas Callicrate, Vice President of Exploration, has assumed the duties of President in accordance with the Company's bylaws until the board of directors formally designates a new President. Mr. Mancuso will remain on the Company's board of directors and assist the Company on an as-needed basis with the development of the Cahuilla gold project.
