Diageo Applauds Governor and Rhode Island Legislature on Efforts to Combat Underage Drinking

Carcieri and the Rhode Island Legislature following the signing of legislation aimed at combating underage drinking. A collaborative effort between Attorney General Patrick Lynch, Sen. Walter Felag (D), Rep. Jan Malik (D), other key members of the Legislature, and supported by the Century Council, a not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to fighting drunk driving and underage drinking, SB 2531 enforces criminal penalties for both minors and adults who provide alcohol to any person under 21 or who permits any person under 21 to consume alcohol on their property.
