Blackrock Abandons Litigation Against Silver Creek, Griffin Properties

Silver Creek, LLC and Griffin Properties, LLC announced that Blackrock Realty Advisors, Inc., a subsidiary of Blackrock, Inc., abandoned their appeal of an adverse court ruling, and agreed to terminate the escrows for the real properties located at 8889 and 8989 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, California. In April, 2005, Silver Creek and Griffin Properties agreed to sell the properties to Blackrock. In July, 2005, Silver Creek and Griffin Properties terminated the purchase agreements for the properties because Blackrock failed to assume certain loans and close the transactions on a timely basis.
