ATF Announces 38 Arrests In Operation Summer Heat

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Special Agent in Charge Kelvin N. Crenshaw and the Yakima Police Department announced the arrests 38 individuals in Operation Summer Heat. The individuals targeted were violent offenders and gang members along with their associates.

The individuals were arrested on both federal and state charges involving firearm and narcotics violations during a three-day enforcement action with the Yakima Police Department's gang unit earlier this month.
