MAQUET Cardiovascular Responds to Terumo Complaint About VASOVIEW Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting Systems

MAQUET Cardiovascular LLC announced that it was served with a complaint filed by Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corp. (Terumo CSC) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint alleges that MAQUET's VASOVIEW Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting Systems infringe a certain U.S. patent. In April 2008, MAQUET filed patent infringement complaints against Terumo CSC and Terumo Corporation with the International Trade Commission (ITC) and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging that Terumo's VirtuoSaph(TM) endoscopic vessel harvesting system infringes two MAQUET U.S. patents.
