Akerman Senterfitt and WolfBlock Discussions Terminated

Akerman Senterfitt announced that its Board of Directors has decided against a potential combination with WolfBlock LLP, a Philadelphia-based law firm. Andrew M. Smulian, chairman of Akerman, explained, "Certain client conflict issues became an impediment to moving forward and were not resolved. Under the circumstances, we determined that it is not in our best interests to pursue the transaction. We appreciate the cooperative spirit of our friends at WolfBlock, and we wish them well."
