English First Declares 2008 'The Year of Anti-English Escalation'

English First Executive Director Jim Boulet, Jr., today declared 2008 "the year of anti-English escalation." "While four out of five Americans support official English, a bipartisan elite has chosen to wage aggressive war against the merest hint that this nation needs a common language," Boulet said. "Last week, an effort by the LPGA to require all its golfers to make a modest effort to learn English was condemned from coast to coast as 'racist' and withdrawn after a threat of lawsuit," Boulet said.
