Flachsbart & Greenspoon Wins Significant Victory at Court of Appeals

Chicago law firm Flachsbart & Greenspoon, LLC today won a significant victory for its client, 1st Technology, LLC. Robert P. Greenspoon, a founding member of the firm, argued the appeal from Bodog's attempts to set aside a judgment in the amount of $46,597,849. The firm today obtained a per curiam affirmance of the judgment against Bodog.com, Bodog.net, and Bodog Entertainment Group S.A. Bodog was sued by 1st Technology for patent infringement based on Bodog's distribution of software used for online gaming. Bodog's online gaming operations make it one of the leaders in the industry, with Bodog claiming to have handled $7.3 billion in online wagers...
