Former FCC Commissioner Kathleen Abernathy will headline a forum on Gadgets and Trends, Growth and Policy that will explore new developments in wireless technology at Next Energy in Techtown on Tuesday, October 21 at 11:30 a.m. The forum is hosted by Consumers for Innovative Technology (CIT), an advocacy group that focuses on emerging technology trends, and will explore wireless technology, the research that develops it and the policies that govern them. Also participating in the forum will be Rick Warner, CEO of ParkingCarma, a company which has patented an automated parking solution for urban areas, and Professor Kurt DeMaagd of the Michigan State University...
