AUL Action Responds to Tonight's Presidential Candidate Debate

After calling on Bob Schieffer to address the issue of abortion in tonight's debate, AUL Action was very pleased to hear Schieffer ask Senators Obama and McCain about the critical issue of appointments to the Supreme Court. There was no disagreement that this election will result in important changes on the Court. In many ways, this is one of the most significant issues for our country that has received the least amount of attention in this campaign. Schieffer is to be commended for bringing Court appointments into the debate.
