AMERIGROUP Corporation Earns $0.74 Per Diluted Share

AMERIGROUP Corporation (NYSE:AGP) announced that its net income for the third quarter of 2008 was $39.4 million, or $0.74 per diluted share, versus $31.2 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2007, a 26.2% increase. The Company is increasing and narrowing the range of its 2008 annual guidance. The Company expects the full-year 2008 net loss to be in the range of $1.16 to $1.11 per diluted share, which includes the impact of the litigation settlement recorded in the second quarter.
