Rowenta, Iron Manufacturer, Pits Marines, Quilters, Mothers and Daughters Against One Another to Help Iron Out Breast Cancer

Marines, quilters and Americans from all walks of life came in force to challenge one another at the Rowenta Iron-a-thon held today at the Houston Quilt Festival in an effort to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF.)

Each quilter donated $5 to be eligible to prove his/her ironing skills as they bravely took on a fellow opponent and ironed a pink shirt in less than two minutes. More than 200 aspiring winners participated in the event.

In addition, Rowenta is selling its specially designed Pink Iron at the Houston Quilt Festival with 100% of the profits going directly to BCRF. This is the third year that Rowenta has partnered...
