Geneva Resources, Inc. Commences Legal Proceedings Relating to Its Vilvoco Property, Peru

Geneva Resources, Inc.'s ("Geneva") (BULLETIN BOARD: GVRS) President, Marcus Johnson reports that Geneva has commenced legal proceedings in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada against each of St. Elias Mines Ltd. and John Brophy, P. Geol. The legal proceedings relate to an option to acquire from St. Elias Mines Ltd. a 66% interest in certain exploration concessions in Peru (the "Vilcoro Property") -- see news release dated January 25, 2007 announcing the acquisition of the Vilcoro option.
