Callpod Announced Today that It Filed a Lawsuit Against Target Corporation Alleging Copyright Infringement and Lanham Act Violations



December 6th, 2008

The lawsuit asserts that Target's "6-in-1 device charger" sold by Target infringes Callpod's intellectual property rights.

The suit was filed in the Northern District of Illinois and Callpod is seeking a temporary restraining order to stop Target from selling and offering for sale the accused "6-in-1 device charger."

"Intellectual property is of paramount importance to Callpod and we will vigorously defend our rights against infringers," said Darren Guccione, Callpod CEO.

Callpod, Inc. is being represented Russell E. Levine, P.C., Michael A. Parks, and Alison Aubry Richards of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
