The California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers (CANGC) and the Nursery Growers Association (NGA) hosted a "Meet Your Senator" luncheon with Sen. Alex Padilla (D--San Fernando Valley) in Canoga Park, California on Friday, October 10, 2008. Dale and Nancy Bergquist, owners of Green Thumb Nursery in Canoga Park hosted the luncheon for Senator Padilla. The event provided nursery growers the opportunity to get to meet Senator Padilla.
