PA DCED Helping to Provide New Housing for Harrisburg's Homeless

Many of the Harrisburg region's homeless residents will soon have a warm, safe place to stay through the help of a new state investment, Department of Community and Economic Development Deputy Secretary Ken Klothen said.

"Susquehanna Harbor Safe Haven will truly live up to its name because it will be a secure place for some of Dauphin County's homeless residents to stay while they get their lives back in order," said Klothen, DCED's deputy secretary for community affairs and development. "The facility will also help to reduce the county's homeless population."
