ACLJ Hears from More Than 230,000 Americans Opposing Return of Fairness Doctrine; Prepares  Litigation Strategy Just in Case

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), focusing on constitutional law, said it is preparing a litigation strategy should the Fairness Doctrine – or a similar regulatory measure – be brought back to muzzle Christian broadcasting. The ACLJ also has heard from more than 230,000 people who have signed on to a petition urging members of Congress to support the Broadcaster Freedom Act – a measure introduced into the U.S. House and Senate that will prevent the return of the troubling Fairness Doctrine.
