The Coalition for a Competitive Pharmaceutical Market (CCPM) applauds President Obama for his commitment to a workable biogeneric pathway with an exclusivity period modeled after Hatch-Waxman in his new budget released. “President Obama recognizes that a workable pathway balances access to high quality biologic medicines with continued incentives for true innovation in the same way that Hatch-Waxman did twenty-five years ago.
