Bruno's Makes Filing to Facilitate Sales Process and Preserve Jobs at Store Locations

Bruno's Supermarkets, LLC announced that it has taken a procedural step to facilitate a sales process that the Company believes could preserve jobs at Bruno's and FOOD WORLD locations. Bruno's filed a motion that is technically described as a motion to reject the collective bargaining agreements between Bruno's and the United Food & Commercial Workers (the "Union" or the "UFCW"). The filing asks the court to allow Bruno's to make changes to the labor agreements with its Teammates that will make a sale of some or all of the Company's store locations easier, which will ultimately preserve jobs.
