Two of ATA's Councils Reorganize

The Safety & Loss Prevention Management Council and the Security Council of the American Trucking Associations have reorganized to form the Supply Chain Security & Loss Prevention Council (SCS&LPC) and the Safety Management Council (SMC). The announcement of the realignment came after affirmative votes by both councils' management advisory boards and membership at their February Winter Steering Meetings. The reorganization recognizes the operational synergy between freight claims, loss prevention and security, as well as the singular, paramount focus of trucking's safety professionals.
