Acacia Subsidiary Licenses Telephone Call Control Technology to LG Electronics

Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced that its Child Protect LLC subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with LG Electronics, Inc. covering a portfolio of patents that applies to controlling incoming and/or outgoing calls from a telephone. This agreement resolves the parties’ dispute that was pending in the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey.
