CADNA Supports the Introduction of the Cybersecurity Act of 2009

The Coalition Against Domain Name Abuse (CADNA) enthusiastically welcomes the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 as introduced by Senator John D. (Jay) Rockefeller and Senator Olympia Snowe. "This bill signals the United States' dedication to national security and to the safety and integrity of the Internet," said Josh Bourne, President of CADNA. This proposed legislation would create a Cybersecurity Advisory Panel, which would assess trends in cybersecurity, analyze the ongoing efforts of the United States to address cybersecurity, and report to and advise the President on national cybersecurity programs and strategy.
