Two Subjects Arrested for Solicitation to Commit Capital Murder

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Dallas Police Department (DPD) arrested a Texas Department of Criminal Justice Prison Guard and his girlfriend on Thursday in an alleged plot to kill the women's estranged husband.

Rudolph Regaldo, 48, a prison guard at the Hodges Unit in Rusk, Texas, and Cathryn Lake, 51, were arrested in Tyler, based on a grand jury indictment, on charges of criminal solicitation to commit capital murder. The indictment also alleges allegation of use or exhibit of a deadly weapon in the commission of this offense.
