TDIC and TDIC Insurance Solutions Select Former California Department of Insurance Deputy as CEO

The Dentists Insurance Company (TDIC) and TDIC Insurance Solutions have announced the hire of Jim Richardson as their new president and CEO. Richardson begins his new position on May 28, 2009, bringing a unique blend of more than 20 years of management, administrative, public policy and insurance experience. Since January of 2007, Richardson served as Chief Deputy Commissioner for the California Department of Insurance. In this role, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of a staff of 1,200 and a $200 million budget.
