ARIAD Announces Webcast of Its Annual Stockholders Meeting

ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) announced that its Annual Meeting of Stockholders on June 19, 2009 will be webcast live and can be accessed by visiting the investor relations section of the Company's website at http://www.ariad.com.

The annual meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. (ET) at the Company's offices in Cambridge, Massachusetts and will include an overview of the Company and its key programs provided by Harvey J.
