BioMed Realty Trust Announces Public Offering of 9,000,000 Shares

BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE:BMR) announced it has commenced a public offering of 9,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. BioMed expects to use the net proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of the outstanding indebtedness under its $720.0 million unsecured line of credit and for other general corporate and working capital purposes. All of the shares will be offered by the company.
BioMed also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase an additional 1,350,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any. Raymond James & Associates, Inc., Morgan...
