Largest Single Asbestos Verdict Awarded

2011 JUN 4 -- Last week it was announced that a Brookhaven, Mississippi man was awarded a $322 million verdict in what his lawyers report is the largest single asbestos verdict in the United States. The lawsuit was against two companies that the man claimed were responsible for his diagnosis of asbestosis at the age of just 30.

Also last week, a Texas couple filed suit against 10 companies that they claim exposed a man to asbestos during his years as a carpenter. The man alleges to suffer from an asbestos related illness.
