New findings from Uppsala University, Department of Neuroscience describe advances in dystonia quality of care

Current study results from the report, 'Impact of dystonia on quality of life and health in a Swedish population,' have been published. According to a study from Uppsala, Sweden, "Dystonia is often disabling and disfiguring. The aim of the study was to identify factors influencing the impact of dystonia on self-reported quality of life and health." "Members of the Swedish Dystonia Patient Association participated in a survey covering demographic variables, satisfaction with treatment, physiotherapy and physical activity.
