July 28th, 2009

"Schaette R, Kempter R. Predicting tinnitus pitch from patients' audiograms with a computational model for the development of neuronal hyperactivity. J Neurophysiol 101: 3042-3052, 2009," researchers in London, the United Kingdom report.

"First published April 8, 2009; doi:10.1152/jn.91256.2008. Tinnitus is often related to hearing loss, but how hearing loss could lead to tinnitus has remained unclear.
